These are early platform terms for CollectorDex and may be updated as the service grows. They are intended to be readable, practical, and transparent. They should be reviewed by a qualified professional before broader commercial launch.

What CollectorDex is

CollectorDex is a collection tracking and estimated-value tool for Pokémon card collectors. It is not a marketplace, trading platform, insurer, broker, financial adviser, tax adviser, investment adviser, or professional appraiser.

Pricing estimates

Card prices are estimates based on available third-party market data. Values may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or change over time. Actual sale prices can vary by condition, edition, grading, language, region, availability, market source, fees, and buyer demand. CollectorDex does not guarantee sale prices or provide financial, investment, insurance, tax, or appraisal advice.

Your records and data portability

CollectorDex provides tools for convenience and organisation, not guaranteed permanent archival storage. You are responsible for keeping independent copies of important collection records. CSV export is provided so you can keep your own records outside CollectorDex.

CSV exports may contain private collection information. Store downloaded files carefully and only share them with people you trust.

Service availability and data limits

CollectorDex aims to keep the service available and data protected, but availability may be interrupted by maintenance, incidents, provider outages, hosting issues, or other technical problems. No online service can guarantee uninterrupted access, absolute security, or that data can never be lost.

Privacy and public sharing

Collections and wishlists are private by default. Public collection sharing is off by default and must be enabled by the collection owner. Public sharing creates a read-only public page and can be disabled by the owner. Private notes, purchase details, storage locations, grading certification numbers, slab notes, wishlists, billing, account, newsletter, and analytics data are not included in public shared pages.

Security and providers

CollectorDex is designed to keep your collection data private by default. We use trusted hosted providers for authentication, database storage, payments, email, hosting, and analytics. Data is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS and stored data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. We also use access controls, authentication, and row-level security to restrict access to user-owned data.

Accounts and Premium

Supabase Auth powers accounts. Stripe powers subscriptions, promotion codes, discounts, renewals, and billing status. CollectorDex does not store full payment card details.

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time. If you cancel, your Premium access will normally continue until the end of your current paid billing period and you will not be charged again unless you resubscribe.

We do not usually provide refunds for unused parts of a billing period, but we may review refund requests for billing errors, duplicate charges, accidental purchases, technical issues, or other exceptional circumstances. This does not affect any statutory consumer rights you may have.

If you cancel or downgrade Premium, we do not delete your collection data solely because your subscription ends. Your existing collections, cards, notes, wishlists, and related records remain associated with your account unless you delete them or request account deletion.

Some Premium features and higher usage limits are only available while Premium is active. If your account is above a Free-plan limit, you may be unable to add more collections, cards, wishlists, or other limited items until you upgrade again or reduce your usage below the Free-plan limit. You should still be able to view and export existing collection records.

Cookies, newsletter, and analytics

Newsletter signup is optional and explicit opt-in. Non-essential analytics only runs after consent, and you can manage cookie preferences from the site footer.

Provider attribution

CollectorDex uses third-party services for card data, images, pricing, exchange rates, authentication, database storage, payments, email, hosting, and analytics. Current card and pricing information may use TCGdex, TCGCSV, TCGplayer-derived market data, ExchangeRate-API, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Brevo, Google Analytics, and Upstash Redis. Provider availability and data coverage may change over time.

Fair use

Do not misuse CollectorDex, attempt to access another user's private data, scrape the service at high volume, interfere with service operation, or use exports to expose private data without permission.

Intellectual property

Pokémon card names, images, logos, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners. CollectorDex is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those owners.
